This will be the last article about Barbados. After discovering Hunte’s Garden and Andromeda, we visited this garden. As I mentioned in the previous articles about Barbados, we had plenty of time. We spent 15 days on this small island, so we might as well make the most of the activities on offer. For example, we visited one last garden: the Flower Forest Botanical Gardens.
It is located in the center of the island, west of Bathsheba. It is less well known than the other gardens. Although it is close to Hunte’s Garden, it is more wooded, quieter, and, in our opinion, more interesting.
So follow me as I show you around!

Exploring the garden
The road to the Flower Forest Botanical Garden is beautiful. It passes through dense forest, which is nice because there is not much forest on the island. As usual, we arrived early in the morning. We were among the first to enter. The entrance is beautiful, with a large room that is also used for receptions, probably weddings and other events.

Once we had paid the entrance fee, we set off to explore the rest of the site, almost entirely on our own! I have to admit, this may have been our favorite garden of the three. Why? It’s hard to say, but it was the combination of all those flowers, remarkable trees, and the overall atmosphere of the place.

The kids loved it here. Everyone enjoyed discovering this beautiful, peaceful garden. The whole area is very well laid out, with lovely paths running through it. One of the main differences between this garden and the others is that there are several beautiful views of the surrounding area. And it is not all flat!

There are several lovely viewpoints where you can sit down and take photos, which is really nice. Inside the garden, there are several paths to choose from. If you follow them all, you could easily spend several hours there! To finish, I’ll leave you with a couple of photos I took during our visit to the garden!
