This will be the last article about Barbados. After discovering Hunte’s Garden and Andromeda, we visited this garden. As I mentioned in the previous articles about Barbados, we had plenty of time. We had 15 days on this small island. We might as well make the most of the activities on offer. For example, we visited one last garden, the Flower Forest Botanical Gardens.
It is located in the centre of the island, west of Bathsheba. It is less well known than the other gardens. Although it’s close to Hunte’s Garden, it’s more wooded, quieter and, we think, more interesting.
So follow me as I show you around!

Exploration of the garden
The road to the Flower Forest Botanical Garden is beautiful. It goes through dense forest, which is nice because there isn’t much forest on the island. As usual, we arrived early in the morning. We were among the first to enter. The entrance is beautiful. There is a large room that is also used for receptions, probably weddings and other events.

Once we had paid the entrance fee, we set off to explore the rest of the site, almost on our own! This is perhaps our favourite garden of the three, I have to admit. Why is that? It’s hard to say, but it’s just a combination of lots of flowers and remarkable trees, and the atmosphere of the place.

The children love it here. Everyone enjoys discovering this beautiful, peaceful garden. The whole area is very well laid out and there are lovely paths around it. One of the main differences between this garden and the others is that there are several beautiful views of the surroundings. And it’s not all flat!

There are a number of notable vantage points where you can sit down and get photographed, which is great fun. Inside, there are a number of paths to choose from. If you do them all, you could spend several hours there! To conclude, I’ll leave you with a couple of photos that I took during my visit to the garden!
