This page features a selection of photos I took with the Viltrox AF 85mm f/1.4 Pro FE lens, which we recently reviewed. Designed for Sony E-mount cameras, this 85mm lens is primarily aimed at portrait photographers thanks to its very large aperture, which allows you to play with depth of field and achieve a beautiful background blur to isolate your subjects. Our tests were carried out on the Sony A7 III. We were impressed by the Viltrox 85 mm f/1.4 Pro FE’s meticulous construction, its excellent sharpness even at full aperture, and the quality of the images it delivers. Given its competitive price for an 85 mm f/1.4 lens, it stands out as a very convincing alternative in terms of value for money.
