For last February’s vacation, we spent two weeks in Quebec with the kids! We went through Mont-Tremblant, Montreal and the Laurentians… we simply loved it! We were in nature, close to everything, and we enjoyed plenty of activities in Mont-Tremblant and other must-see spots in Quebec. We truly enjoyed Mont-Tremblant and can only recommend that you make a stop there. That’s why I decided to write a comprehensive article about hotels in Mont-Tremblant. As a little anecdote, it snowed twice while we were there: we were really lucky. And how can I say that the kids were amazed!
You understood, the purpose of this article is to make it easier for you to search for accommodation in Mont-Tremblant. As always, I based it on our own on-site experience and that of our friends who live in Quebec, to share with you our impressions and our best recommendations!
Like I told you, in my opinion, Mont-Tremblant is one of Quebec’s must-see destinations! Let me explain: it’s a top destination during all four seasons. To give you an idea, in the winter you can easily ski, enjoy sliding activities, or simply take advantage of the magical setting. In the summer, you can opt to hike, bike, play golf… there’s really plenty to do, haha. In the spring, as nature awakens, it’s perfect for walks. And the highlight: autumn, with all its colors!
Furthermore, I would say that Mont-Tremblant has two sides: on one hand, the lively, colorful village with its shops and restaurants; on the other, the wild nature with its forests and beautiful viewpoints. It’s truly the kind of place we appreciate: a mix of tranquility and small-town charm!
Moreover, during our trip to Mont-Tremblant, we decided to rent our winter clothes via Tuque & Bicycle Expériences, and it was really great! We talk about it in our dedicated article!
Why choose Mont-Tremblant for your vacation?
As I said, in my opinion, Mont-Tremblant is one of the must-see destinations in Quebec! Let me explain: it’s a top destination in all four seasons. To give you an idea, in winter you can ski, snowboard or just enjoy the magical scenery. In summer you can go hiking, cycling, golfing… there really is something for everyone, haha. In spring, nature awakens and is perfect for walks. And the highlight is autumn, with all its colours!
I’d also say that there are two sides to Mont-Tremblant: the lively, colourful village with its shops and restaurants, and the wilderness with its forests and beautiful views. It’s really the kind of place you appreciate: somewhere between tranquillity and a small village!

The best accommodation options in Mont-Tremblant
At Mont-Tremblant, every corner offers a different atmosphere. It all depends on what you prefer: tranquility, liveliness, or a mix of both. I’ll tell you everything:
- The Pedestrian Village: you will clearly be at the heart of the action, just a few meters from restaurants, shops, and ski lifts. It’s a very convenient location since you can do everything on foot! If you love going out and having fun, I highly recommend it!
- Forest Domain: here, you experience a completely different setting and ambiance. You will be up high, in peace, and most importantly, immersed in nature! Moreover, you’ll have the choice of accommodations with stunning views of the mountains. Yet, you remain close to the village while enjoying a more serene and natural setting. I think it’s a great compromise.
- Sunny Slope: as its name suggests, it’s on the sunnier side. You venture further away from the village to enjoy a more intimate and less crowded setting. In this area, you’ll mostly find high-end accommodations, with a casino right next door. If you want to treat yourself, it’s an excellent option!
- Off-station and nature chalets: to truly disconnect, you can easily be off-station and choose a chalet in the middle of the forest, by a lake, with beautiful views of the mountains. It’s dreamy, isn’t it?
