Sony FX30 vs a6600

In September 2022, Sony introduced the FX30, a 26 MP APS-C body, a year and a half after the release of the FX3 (full frame). It also suffers from the lack of a USB-C port and is not compatible with UHS-II cards, which limits data transfer speeds.

The A6600 does include an SD card slot (UHS-I), which is sufficient for fast file transfers, but falls short of current standards in terms of speed. Despite these limitations, and although it has been replaced by the A6700, which offers significant improvements in terms of video and display, the A6600 remains a robust and versatile choice, offering excellent value for money for photographers looking for a durable, high-performance camera.
