This category of my photography blog will be specialized on all the advice and photo technique that we can learn to progress, immortalize, capture better moments in photography. The first category of the page, entitled “The Basics of Photography”, explains in detail all the basic concepts, technical terms to learn photography. If you are looking to understand the concepts of depth of field, white balance, focal length, shutter speed or post processing, you will find everything on this page.
This section, in connection with the first, will allow you to go further to learn about photography. I would not detail technical or other terms here, the aim being to focus on photo tips to understand how to take pictures in a given situation. If you follow these tips, you will be able to take better shots. Almost every situation requires a specific photographic technique.
Then yes, you will be able to take photo courses or photography training to learn how to use your manual mode, how to take panoramic photos or how to make a long exposure. I try in my own way to give you photo tutorials to improve you and learn all these techniques, maybe not enough to become a professional photographer in a few months, but you should see some progress quite soon.

So what are we gonna talk about? Taking pictures is one thing, knowing how to take a backlight picture, how to avoid blurred images, how to have a beautiful bokeh (background blur) or how to take a beautiful landscape picture is even more important. I will of course give you some photo techniques, especially for travel photos (e. g. knowing how to make beautiful images with an hdr, how to make a good, how to make a successful night photo, how to make a great shot, how to use a tripod, how to control your exposure time in broad daylight for a long exposure, etc.). I will also give photo advice for daily photographic control (e. g. how to focus successfully, how to shoot counter-plunge), how to use beautiful natural light, how to highlight the subject with a good composition and setting, etc.).
To do beautiful photos, it will also be necessary to improve your photographic equipment. All the camera equipment is covered in another category of the blog, specialized in the field. For example, I will explain how to choose your camera (Full Frame/Aps-C body), regarding what you like and your budget, how to choose an must-have accessory like a polarizing filter, an ND filter (neutral density filter), use a cobra flash, or choose a wide angle macro/lens or a telephoto lens. In short, anything that refers to the camera gear.
The main part of this category is to give you advice (except choice or use related to the equipment) in order to improve your shots and images. In the end, it would be a shame not knowing how to improve your landscape photography before you go on a trip, wouldn’t it?
I wish you a good reading,
See you soon,
Sylvain
