When you think of the Canary Islands, Tenerife is probably one of the first places that comes to mind. It’s the largest island in the archipelago, as well as the most developed and the most popular with visitors. Personally, I’ve been there twice, and I enjoyed it just as much the second time. The island offers an incredible variety of landscapes, from black- and golden-sand beaches, colorful villages, and tropical forests to its famous volcano, Mount Teide.
